The Guitar Note has re-released issue one in new, updated versions.

After receiving reports of some readers having difficulty with some formats of issue one, we knew we had to take another look at the issue to see how we could make things easier.  We have now re-leased issue one in the following formats:

Epub – This version works great with iBooks for iPad and iPhone and various ePub readers for PC, Mac, Linux, and Android. It contains embedded video and audio content. Just like downloading a TV show or movie, downloading this file may take a while, but you’ll be able to enjoy the embedded audio and video goodness even when you are offline.

PDF – For those readers without ePub readers or those who would prefer a PDF. This file also contains embedded audio and video.

Kindle – This version is for Kindle and Kindle Fire. It also works great with Kindle for PC, Kindle for Mac, and the free eBook management software Calibre (available here for PC, Mac, and Linux). NOTE: This version does NOT have embedded multimedia content. Instead, you will see a link which will take you to an online version of the content.

We thank you for your patience as we work through these problems. We now think that we have the technical struggles taken care of, and we are excited for everyone to be able to read and experience our stories!

Looking Ahead:

Here are some the great stories that will be in issue two (available in early August):

Special feature on The Santa Cruz Guitar Company, including a video tour of the factory, interviews, demos, and more.

Phyllis Fender (wife of Leo Fender) sits down for a personal and insighful discussion of her late husband and his unique approach to his work and his life.

Part one of a three part series with Doug Kauer of Kauer Guitars.

An interview with legendary bluesman Walter Trout.

Drummer Ari Hoenig discusses his approach to music and rhythm.

Guitar virtuoso Julian Lage sits down for discussion with The Guitar Note.

An interview with innovative guitar builder/musician Jim Soloway.

Charlie Cooper from Orange gives us an inside look at the development of the Orange OPC musician’s personal computer.

Video lessons from Eric Skye and Steve Benford, columns from Carmen Caramanica, Russell Southard, and The Dabbler, and more!

As you can see, the best is yet to come.

Thanks for your support, and let’s play some guitar!
